Of the breaking and entering.

Have you heard about the latest traumatic incident that hit our famous kakak, Wardina Safiyyah?

Watch her video.

This is awfully daunting. TO BOTH OF US. We left the house for about 5 days and husband forgot to turn the outdoor lights on. Okay, shouldn't put the blame on him alone, it's my responsibility too. Alhamdulillah (so sooo lega) fortunately no uninvited bad news were received, nothing bad happened. Alhamdulillah.. syukran The Almighty.

The scariness level goes up to the MAXIMUM when one the colleagues who live in the same neighborhood told there was once a burglary case here. Plus, at the back of my house is a construction work, still. I cannot sleep well at night. Especially whenever I heard of a tiny clicking sound. Or even a cat's meow. My sleeping pattern is ruined!

Practice these ALWAYS.

1. Do'a. I recite Ayatul Kursi and Surah An-Nas to keep me calm and safe. InsyaAllah.
2. Get yourself known to the nearest police station and save the number. Put in on speed dial.
3. Keep doors (front and back) locked and secure. Windows as well. Use a proper locksmith.
4. Install an alarm system. (Depends on your budget)
5. Lock your car too. Never leave extra house/car keys in your car.
6. Lock your bedroom's door whenever you want to hit the bed.
7. Do not save too much on the electricity bills. Pay extra to keep your house brighter. Front and back.
8. Place something heavy at your back's door. Something like master cupboard or cooking gas.
9. Curtains. Curtains. Curtains.
10. Save your cash at the bank. Putting it under your pillow will not guarantee the money will 'beranak' (grow).
11. Immediately call the police if you see any suspicious nefarious human hovering around your neighborhood. Be responsible.

Let's pray for our safety. Don't be a hero. Your life is precious.
