Lavatory.

Most people have their own dream houses. A dream luxurious bathroom. A spacious modern bedroom. A magnificent Masterchef-like kitchen.

I do have.

For the reason I don't take shower yet, let's thrash out this issue. I mean, the bathroom.

I always wanted to have a huge bathroom. Jacuzzi. Rain shower. Luxurious one. Where you can be in it for hours! Me and husband are planning to have our dream bathroom. Haven't scratch it yet.

Googled it for better scrapbook.

I have never seen this design at any places yet. Hooohhhhhh I super like!

I love this type of shower. Raining heavily!

A jacuzzi you cannot resist. Bravura!

Let's keep on dreaming.

An epistle to Abah.

Recently there were so many saddening stories posted on facebook. One article did attract me to write is about dad.

Tears are welling up in my eyes. Poignant.
(In case Abah read this)

Dearest Abah,

I still remember...

The smile on your face when I got excellent results in exams.
I know how proud  you were those days.

The way you ran to me when I was conferred an award at my graduation.
I know you satisfied with the investment you have invested in me.

The happy sound of your voice when I said I will/can help you.
I know you can count on me.

The jolly face of you when I got my first job.
I know I have lessen your burden. And it is time to 'pay' you back.

The relief you felt when I said I want to get hitched.
I know you are happy with the guy I want to marry to.

Dearest Abah..

Thank you...

For granting me a name I like.
For taking care of me since I was young.
For giving me 'loans' to study and shop.
For giving me permission to marry a guy.
For endless support and love.

You are truly my hero. Amazing hero.

Blissful.

I have been married for 2.5 years. I am grateful for this knot. Matrimony really suits my life and need.

One fine day, I had lunch with dear husband. Roti bakar at Kemaman Kopitiam. Wholemeal. Delectable one.

Husband  :  Hey, I want to tell you something.
Wife  :  What's up?
Husband  :  You should feel lucky to have me as your husband. (Smirking proudly)
Wife  :  Excuse me???.......

Ouch, felt like a bolt from the blue. I went speechless. I stared at him and was hoping that the statement is not enunciated. (Haha)

Wife  :  Why should I?? (Disgruntled)
Husband  :  Because I have been nice to you.

Silence.

Bookish.

Books. A so-called dull magazine to me. How to be a book-lover? How to achieve a book, a month?

Never ending questions. If you hate reading.

Recently, I just bought myself two books.

The journey to buy was a difficult one. Intricate turns and complexities! My husband was frowned upon the buying habits I have (especially when using his money hehe). He knew I will never read them.  I assured him I will change my behavior. I will read them all. Until now, dusty.

Do you believe that by buying books does not mean you love reading? (Yeah, me!)

INSANE.

The habit of buying books is unbearable. I love books so much. Or shall I say that I love to have books in my house. I love to stop by at the bookstores. I love to touch its cover. I love the scent of new papers. Oittt, I just love it.

But, I overlooked one thing. What is the main purpose of bookstore is setting up. To encourage people reading. To be an erudite person.

But........... I am not in love with the reading part. (hare-brained confession)

DEMENTED.

Read this quote.

"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader."
(W. Fussselman)

Urgh.... with that wise thought, now I feel guilty.

Henceforth, I have came out with a challenge. I must finish reading a book before the end of this year. Babystep..babystep..

Here, I pledge to read this book.

You have my word, husband.

Have you challenge yourself? Did it work out?
